If you’ve never tried Restorative Yoga before you’re in for a real treat!
Restorative yoga helps the mind and body deeply relax by using props to create positions of total ease and comfort. When the body feel fully supported in this way, we are able to relax; physically, mentally and emotionally, releasing deeply held tension, which in turn helps to boost well-being. The session is a gentle invitation to unplug from the everyday 'doing' and drop onto your body with love and tenderness.
The purpose of this type of yoga is one of opening and softening, where the nervous system shifts out of 'fight or flight' into a relaxation response, initiating a whole plethora of calming and rejuvenating activities, from - releasing the body from stress hormones, lowering blood pressure and heart rate, and improving digestion. It's an idea antetode to today's modern lifesyule and in partiocular to the current situation in which we find ourselves in.
A deeply relaxing experience that allows space from your busy day-to-day, helping you to feel more calm, clear and open in the real moments of your daily life.
We'll end the session with a wonderful yoga nidra- a deeply restful and nourishing practice which helps to reduce anxiety, improve sleep and relieves tension in the mind and body.
